The Copyright Hub Launch Group

The Copyright Hub Launch Group (CHLG) was established to oversee the design, funding and implementation of the Copyright Hub. Its formal role ended in December 2013 when The Copyright Hub Ltd was established and the role of the CHLG was taken over by the new governance structures of the Copyright Hub. The pages here refer to the previous activities of the CHLG.

It was made up of senior people from the creative industries and was chaired by Richard Hooper, co-author of the original report, 'Copyright works: Streamlining copyright licensing for the digital age' (see 'Other documents', below). To see the members of the CHLG, please see the members page.

The CHLG was one of a number of work streams that report to the Copyright Licensing Steering Group (CLSG). For information on the CLSG and the other work streams please visit the CLSG website.
